Thank you for your interest in coaching with the St. Catharines Ladies Softball League!

We’re proud to support girls of all ages in developing their skills, confidence, and love for the game — and that starts with great coaches like you.

To ensure a safe environment for our players, all coaches must complete and pass a valid background check.

🛡️ Background Check Info:

  • Police checks are required for all Select Coaching positions.

  • Most background checks are valid for three years.

    All coaches must adhere to the guidelines and expectations set out by the league. If approved, you understand and agree to follow all applicable codes of conduct, rules, and standards outlined by the St. Catharines Ladies Softball League, Softball Canada, OSSTA, and any other governing bodies or affiliated associations. Your commitment to supporting and upholding these guidelines is essential to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all players and participants.

The Selection Committee will then make a recommendation of the best candidate for each team. These recommendations will be discussed and voted on at the Board level.

Applicants that the committee selects as the primary choice for a given team will be contacted by the committee after executive board approval and offered that team for the upcoming season.
