Novice Storm – June 2012 – Games, Tourneys & Practices

The meet­ing of the Peel Hal­ton League took place Sunday, March 4th, in Mississauga. There are 8 confirmed teams in the Novice Division.
Barrie Storm; Brampton Blazers; Halton Jr. Hawks; Halton Sr. Hawks; Mississauga North Tigers; Mississsauga South West;
St. Catharines Storm; Niagara Falls and Vaughan Vikings.
Brampton Blazers and Barrie Storm wish to play on a week-end. The other games will be a Lancaster 1 on a Wednesday night.
Details, schedule and etc. will be posted as they become available.

I have learned from Kelly Campbell, our Parks person, that we (the Novice Team) will have Lancaster 1 available for League Games — both time slots — each Wednesday. — We are waiting for the Schedule.
The St. Catharines Parks officially open on Monday May 7th, 2012.

The St. Catharines Ladies League 18th Annual Tour­ney will be held June 1st, 2nd and 3rd — details as they become available.

The P.W.S.A. has given St. Catharines 1 of the 3 Novice Qual­i­fier sites — July 20 — 22. Details as they become available.

Every Novice Team will play in the Provin­cial Grands. The Grand Championship will be held August 3 — 5, 2012 @ Pickering.

Most of  the girls will be on hand at Opening Day –Information wsill be available. Lots of fun events and competions.

All Rep Teams are a  group of girls who have voluntarily decided to test their skills beyond the house league level of competition, our Novice Team is no exception. Head Coach Frank Mucci; Assistant Coach Tim Rowdon; Shelby Pagnotta; Jordyn Meloche and Manager Al Marvin are now doing out door practices - please check your schedule for times and locations.

Squirt - 10 & 11yrs old as of January 1st of the current year
Novice — 12 & 13 yrs old as of January 1st of the current year
Bantam — 14 & 15 yrs old as of January 1st of the current year

Tryouts and Team practices will take place every Monday and Wednesday from 7 pm to 9  pm at Dalewood School, 61 Duncan Drive, St. Catharines - 1st practice was held Monday January 9th, 2012 @ 7:00 pm. Practices continue weekly, each Monday and Wednesday 7 to 9 pm

This team, a Tier 1 team, will play exhibitioin games and Tournaments. Some are listed below.

May 15th in Guelph this is an exhibition game
May 25th in Halton Hills
June 1st in St.Catharines
June 8th in Lancaster NY
